Youth Across Borders
Youth Across Borders established in 2014 by Courtney Rice Bosca aims to create a cross cultural partnership for those living with HIV in the United States as well as the children affected by HIV living in the orphanage of Montana De Luz located in rural Honduras. Our aim is to explain the history and mission of this project with the intention that we can encourage those living with HIV ages 18-29 from broad cultural backgrounds to explore the opportunity of becoming a Youth Ambassador and traveling to Honduras for one week to experience life with the children at Montana de Luz. We will also incorporate an activity that will focus on the importance of utilizing nonverbal communication.
